The Problems With Stock Images
Stock photography has always been about fitting a square peg into a round hole. Searching for 'the perfect image' that doesn't exist is immensely frustrating.
Once you settle on an image, there's the issue of aspect ratio and theme colour...they don't fit into your design scheme.
The end result is a mishmash of themes, colours and styles, which just looks unprofessional.
2. Background images don't match.
Very often, you need a set of maybe 4 images that match in terms of background and colour scheme. Most stock photography does not fit this criteria.

We can all spot a stock image a mile off. They are obvious, not subtle and it makes your site design appear lazy. You can now have custom images that are unique to you.
